It is used for the freezing of coated or cream products.The cooling principle can differ as water-cooled evaporator, gas-cooled evaporator and air condenser.
In coated products, the product flow rate, the properties of the product to be coated, the operating ambient temperature and the cooling principle to be selected are factors in the tunnel properties.
